more 90210

Here I am again on another Saturday morning watching 90210. On this one (actually a 2-part episode) Valerie's friend comes to town. Suddenly, things start missing, like valuable jewelry and watches, etc. Of course, bad boy Ray Pruitt gets the blame until Valerie catches her friend and rats her out. Thus, a happy ending for all. Oh, until the very end that I just saw.....turns out the whole thing was a scam to make Valerie look like the heroine.

I think after almost 2 years, I may have hit a breakthrough with Bosco. For the longest time, he would never come inside for me. When I'd try to go get him, he'd act like it was a game and run off. However, lately, he's been considerably different. I mean, he doesn't always respond right away (but he doesn't always respond to Gene right away either), but I don't spend even 1/10 of the effort I used to in order to get him in. It makes me so much happier. Now, if we could only keep him from escaping and running......

We went to Parties in the Park at Fairmont Park last night for my friend's husband's birthday. I bet on 4 races. I actually won $5.20 on one of the races. That still leaves me down $2.80, but food was included in admission and beer was $1, so it's all good.

Well, I think it's time for my mid-morning nap....
