WTF?

I really wonder why I do things sometimes.....you would never guess what I've been doing for the past 10 minutes or so. I was looking at the list of 9/11 victims. Why? No reason really, I just wanted to google it and see if there was a list of everyone who passed away that day. And, in fact, there is and it includes a picture and short bio of just about everyone. So I've got a real upper in which to fall asleep. It makes you think, though, about how our lives are so unexpected and not permanent. Your time could be at any time and for so many of these people it came at the same time, unfortunately.

On another note, I'm super excited about this weekend. My very lovely friends, Jessie and Chris, are getting married. They met at the big Chicago pub crawl almost 2 years ago. This goes back to my other theory about being where you are at the exact time you're supposed to be there. We invited Jessie to come up and she was on the fence until the last minute and ended up going. Chris almost didn't come down because he didn't have a ride, but he ended up flying in. And the rest is history.....It is truly amazing how every little insignificant moment in your life brings you to where you are right now. Everything happens to get you here and though it seems to have no rhyme or reason, it all happens exactly as it should......
